Letter to a friend

Dude,
You totally missed out. This weekend was so much fun. It started off with Ashley's birth day party on friday night. You know, that girl I introduced you to. Anyway that went til like 5 in the morning. Which of course means i slept till like 3 on saturday, and we all know how good sleeping in feels, especially when you have an 8 o'clock class every morning. Well when i woke up i went down and did some laundry. Which was most of my saturday. Then sunday was BOOMSDAY that was such a blast...literally. The most massive fireworks show i've ever seen. Afterward i just went out to dinner. Then monday was the game...which i will say no more about.





Dear Grandmother,
This past weekend was perhaps the most fun i've had in months. Even though i couldn't come back and visit i found a way to keep happy, like you always tell me to.
The first thing i did was go to a birthday party for a friend of mine. She was turning nineteen so she was really excited. The next day i did some laundry and studied, it wasn't really too eventful. But sunday was boomsday in Knoxville. Everyone went down to the river by campus and celebrated carnival style until it got dark enough to see the fireworks. Then on monday i watched the football game with my friends. Our school lost but it was to a team in a different division.
